This course is for students who already have some practice of watercolor. Viktoria and Slawa Prischedko will lead this class in turn. Viktoria will teach landscapes outside and in the studio and Slawa will teach portraiture in the studio.
Viktoria’s class is in French with a simultaneous translation into English. Slawa’s class is in German with a simultaneous translation into French and English.
You will paint the beautiful landscapes around Perrot either outside or in the studio. I will make as many demonstrations as needed to show you how to capture you vision of the landscape, how to get aware of the main features in a complex landscape and to use them as means of expression, how to use colors to express emotions, how to get familiar with the "wet in wet" technique, how to create deepness in a picture.
Viktoria was born in Moravia. She graduated from the Art Academy of Kiev and the Architecture and Monument School of Trier. She is a member of the European Institute of Watercolor in Belgium. She received numerous prizes and rewards in Belgium, France and Germany. Bibliography : Pratique des Arts 2008 n°15 "Aquarelle", Art Profil 2006 n°6, Palet 2007 n°327, "Sudio Pictures" 2008 Artwerk.
Viktoria is not just perfectly mastering a beautiful technique, using amazing colors or having an incredible sense of light and deepness, she is just a genius!... As a great traveler, this artist shows us the beauty of the whole world. She excels as well with a shivering winter landscape than with a crowded market square under the dazzling sun of Marrakech...
Slawa Prischedko was born in 1957 in Ukraine and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kiev and the National Institute of Art in Odessa. As he teaches in his own painting academy he masters brilliantly the art of teaching. You will enjoy his demonstrations of extraordinary portraits of ladies and his theoretical teaching that you won’t find anywhere else. His class will be given in the studio. Bibliography: Atelieransichten 2008, Slawa Prischedko’s painting 2008, Univers des Arts Hors-Série Aquarelle 2009, Univers des Arts n°149 2010, Palette 87 (1) 2010.
Considering the strength of his paintings, Slawa is known as one of the best watercolorist worldwide. In his paintings Slawa combines delicacy and accuracy of the drawing to dazzle the viewer with moving works evoking the Italian Renaissance.
