We will primarily paint outdoors and restrain painting in the studio to specific exercises. With the help of many demonstrations I will teach the art of capturing the atmosphere of a landscape using my usual techniques : the art of the negative which means controlling space by the pressure of opposite characteristics, the art of mastering the sculpted whites, the concept of opposite shapes and the techniques of humid, semi-humid, semi-dry and dry. This course is recommended for intermediate, advanced and professionals.
