This class is for students that have already a good experience in abstract painting. After the experience of conducting this workshop for several years I am now convinced that abstract painting can be taught with excellent results. I will show how to express our deepest emotions and how to put them on the canvas going beyond appearances. I will deal with all the technical and artistic questions which arise in the realization of a painting. Among other topics we will examine composition in terms of lines, masses, value, color, quality of brushstrokes, soft or hard edges, glazing, impasto and collages, etc...

Very seldom do paintings appear so alive and intense. Here we stand in front of vast spaces where we perceive a world of form and energy expressed in lines. Our imagination is captivated and awakened to interior landscapes, feelings and impressions.
